Learn More About CPLAN – “Credit for Prior Learning Assessment Network” – Academic Webinar Video

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), offers college students the potential of turning hard earned knowledge gained through years of work, volunteering, or military service – into college credits.  This can allow greater numbers of  students to complete college by saving money and  also helping them complete a degree faster.

There are currently six Minnesota State institutions participating in the CPL program.  The schools are Dakota County Technical College, Inver Hills Community College, Metropolitan State University, Rochester Community and Technical College, Saint Paul College, and South Central College.

This one hour webinar from the Minnesota State I.T. Center of Excellence will go into detail about the Minnesota State Credit for Prior Learning Assessment Network (C-PLAN)  and what they are currently doing to expand and sustain CPL for Minnesota college students.
