U MSA – The Upper Midwest Security Alliance is an alliance of security and risk-related organizations. As a nonprofit founded in 2004, UMSA serves business, government and education professionals in the upper Midwest, collaborating with professional associations, educators and industry-leading companies to provide professional development opportunities that contribute to a stronger security foundation for organizations.
Advance IT Minnesota is an affiliate member of UMSA and the two organizations work closely to promote educational events and experiential learning opportunities throughout the year. UMSA has been a longstanding sponsor of the annual Cybersecurity Skills Innovation (CSi) Boot Camp and the Minnesota Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) administered by MN STATE ITCOE CCDC winners earn UMSA scholarships to attend the annual Secure360 Conference and be recognized in an awards ceremony.
