MINNESOTA TECHNOLOGY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

JR Lego League

Students K-3 (ages 6-9)

Currently developing ways for teams to compete and show work remotely or with limited contact.

A fun, non-competitive program introducing concepts of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) around an annual theme. Teams research the current Challenge theme, design and build a LEGO model with both a simple machine and a motorized part, and display their work on a Show Me poster.

Lego League

Students grades 4-9 (ages 9-14)

Currently developing ways for teams to compete and show work remotely or with limited contact.

Students step up exploration of STEM concepts through a fun and competitive program designed around an annual theme. Students delve into a research project and design, build, and program an autonomous LEGO robot to complete missions.

Tech Challenge

Students grades 7-12

Currently developing ways for teams to compete and show work remotely or with limited contact.

Fun and competitive program with emphasis on design, building, and programming processes of robotics. Teams design a robot with both autonomous and driver controlled modes to compete based on the annual Challenge.
