SPARCS hITs a Homer with the Minnesota Twins

Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 @Target Field

9:00 AM – 9:15 AM – Students arrive

9:30 AM – Tour begins

Noon – Lunch begins

12:30/1PM – Program begins

3:15/3:30PM – Wrap up/program ends

Learn about Target Field and the Minnesota Twins with an exclusive behind the scenes look focused on the stadium, baseball and business technology. Participants will discover how technology drives success from the background to the foreground at Target Field. Following the morning tour, spend the afternoon learning how science is applied to baseball, working on solving real-world problems and network with industry mentors. It’s sure to be a Major League hit for students with sporting and technology interests.

Back by popular demand, this FREE school release-day classic for girls in high school is the perfect blend of sisterhood, exploration of cool technology, lunch, engagement with professional women and men, and experiential learning.  The interactive day features:

Our discussion will help you think about previous experiences and how they can help you shape future opportunities. We will also discuss the value of mentors, LinkedIn and volunteering.
