Russell works with partner organizations to inspire young people to become our next, best Minnesota-grown technologists. He leads the IT Discovery Network and Tech IT Out!MN engagement strategies. He is also the Executive Director of Leading-Edge Collaborations, Inc., a business dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations to achieve success through high quality collaboration strategies. He holds a BS degree from the University of Minnesota and a MA degree from the University of St. Thomas. His passion for public education and achieving effective partnerships guided his 30 year career as a Community Education Administrator for four metro area school districts.

Russell and his wife Rebecca lived for many years in Minneapolis and currently reside in Mahtomedi where they raised a daughter and son. He loves the outdoors, golfing, yoga, gardening/landscaping, and supporting others to realize their aspirations and potential.
