Making the most Out of the New Academic Year Event Calendar as a MN State Faculty Member

Welcome back Minnesota State FACULTY!


We are all excited to have you back as you prepare yourself for the upcoming academic year. I wanted to ‘reintroduce’ the Minnesota State IT Center of Excellence; as you begin to plan your 2018-2019 calendar, make check out our event calendar and save some important dates.  


As one of eight Minnesota State Centers of Excellences we are focused in technology; while other Centers are focused on major  industries that face serious workforce shortages such as; Agriculture, Healthcare, Energy, Manufacturing and Engineering and Transportation.


At the Information Technology Center of Excellence we offer a wide range of opportunities to assist MN State I.T. students and faculty increase their professional and technical skills through online and in person courses, experiential  learning, training programs, conferences and so much more. We l collaborate with industry and faculty to develop curriculum that attracts and prepare students for success in high-demand I.T. career paths.


There are a number of ways to keep informed of all we have to offer you:

Aside from the IT Center of Excellence website, we also have an online IT Connect Community, where students, faculty and employers can connect, share and collaborate with each other.

  • Students: Sign-up to  join interest groups, access exclusive events and training, post your resume, explore career opportunities and connect with employers and faculty.
  • Faculty: Sign-up to access exclusive events and train and connect and collaborate with major industry partners. with an educator or employer.  
  • Employers: Sign-up to access a pipeline of talented I.T. students and professionals, post career opportunities, partner with faculty and their institutions and share brand events.
