Introducing Alumnae Stories on Instagram LIVE

Introducing Alumnae Stories on Instagram LIVE

The Minnesota Aspirations in Computing Award program is striving to improve student experiences and engagement in 2020. In spring 2019, we conducted a survey asking program participants what they would like to see added to our programming. The result was unanimous for more opportunities for you to connect and network with your peers.

You asked and we listened!

We had the soft launch of Alumnae Stories on Instagram LIVE in October — This social media series gives you and other young women in high school the opportunity to connect with each other. Through featuring past and present program participants, you'll learn and connect with peers and with alumnae at various stages of their journey as #womenintech. Guest alumnae will be sharing candid stories about college, career and simply adulting. You’ll even have the opportunity to be featured by using Instagram’s Q&A feature to ask guest questions.

If you’re too shy to ask guest questions during live streaming, you can connect through the Aspirations IT Connect Community.  We’ve created a safe space online for young women in high school to connect, network and share their experiences in tech with each other, alumnae and, industry partners — Join the Aspirations IT Connect Community Today!

Recaps and highlights from Alumnae Stories will ONLY be shared and accessible in the Aspirations, IT Connect Community.
