Data for Good: Building a Compassionate, Whole Story

Reporting data is an increasing requirement in health care, especially with greater awareness of the need for strong public health knowledge and responses. The required outcomes can often be very narrow and not the most applicable to front-line support and interventions. Further, these reported metrics can unintentionally contribute to stigma and discrimination.

This talk will review ways to provide a more holistic and strengths-based perspective of data and outcomes that can impact systemic views as well as seeing the people served in different ways, ideally building compassion and empathy after having a more complete picture of them. In times of a global pandemic, strengths-based and whole person data and analytics can be particularly important for short- and long-term recovery. by: Josh Morgan
