Data Derby Minnesota 2022 Results

Data Analytics Competition
Minnesota State IT Center of Excellence launched the Minnesota Data Derby, an annual multi-disciplinary competition where students across Minnesota can provide their analysis of data surrounding a global social problem.
The 2022 theme centered around the effect of a pandemic on global trade. This years competition consisted of 21 student teams; comprised of 67 students and 13 faculty and industry guests.
The competition involved each team submitting their data as a video presentation. Presentations were then uploaded to YouTube, allowing judges from across the State to assess each teams findings and presentation.
With the findings of this assessment, the top ranked five teams in both Novice and Advance levels were asked to present virtually to the judges on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
