OTHER INFORMATION: Career area for technology = Digital and Technology General Mills summer internships are typically 10 weeks in length, starting at the beginning of June and going through mid-August. All IT internship positions are based out of our Minneapolis headquarters, and interns are given individual projects to own from start to finish.

Current college students join Optum for a 10-week summer internship experience. Interns and full-time associates engage in a variety of experiential learning and development opportunities that prepare them as emerging technologists. They become equipped to solve the biggest problems of healthcare through the application of technology and innovation, delivering on our mission of helping people live healthier lives and helping make the health system work better for everyone. Through TDP, participants will work in one or more technology tracks and benefit from a comprehensive program structure.
