Summer Bootcamps Are Officially Done! And, Did We Mention? They Were Awesome.
MN State IT Center of Excellence had a busy and fun June hosting Cyber Bootcamp at Metropolitan State University and the 1st Annual Data Bootcamp at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Both of these events brought together students from across Minnesota to explore cyber or data and advance their understanding and abilities.

Strong Turnout for Career Readiness Lunch-and-Learn
On Friday March 1, thirteen faculty from across the state braved snowy skies and roads to gather for lunch during the annual SIGCSE Technical Symposium in Minneapolis, to learn about the new D2L Career Readiness Modules being offered by ITCOE. Wilson Garland, Janice Aanenson and Chad Eckes from ITCOE provided information and took questions about the Modules, as well as discussed the needs for improved Career Readiness curriculum options for faculty to offer in their classes.

New D2L Modules for Career Readiness … Coming Soon to a Campus Near You
In line with the Minnesota State IT Center of Excellence mission, we are excited to introduce new career readiness curriculum for IT and CS faculty to use in their courses. We are also excited to introduce Chad Eckes, a new consultant at the COE, who has helped us develop the new D2L Modules, and will be assisting with their launch.
